LOVE THIS ONE!  We ordered a new tool for our fondant and it is AMAZING!  No elephant skin...no tearing!  YAY!

Rocket cake for Conner's Birthday

This was probably our most challenging cake yet.  The bottom part of the cake (from about halfway down the name) is the base that Cory made.  The top is about 8 1/2 layers!  It was so much fun!  We were stressed out doing this one.  It got prayed over MANY times!  This cake was a recreation of the rocket found on the 'Hugs and Stitches' invitation for the party.  It fed about 30-40 people.

Etsy shop is up and running!!!

New Canvas

This is the largest canvas I have done so far.  It is 16x20.  This one is for a teacher's classroom.  Her classroom colors are orange, pink and red.  One this size is $45

Ladybug Cake :)

This is my second ever cake...and it is my first go around with fondant.  There are TONS of mess-ups in this cake...but they will get better as I go along.  Let me know what you think!

Yay! Finally after three years....

After three years of trying to aquire either inspiredbygrace.com or inspiredbygrace.net I have succeeded!  Well at least for http://www.inspiredbygrace.net/ !!!!  For now I am forwarding the traffic to here, but in the future I hope to have a fully functioning website!  I am so excited!  Stay tuned.

My attempt at cakes :)

Okay, so I made my first ever cake a few weeks ago.  I have a LONG way to go but I am going to start doing this part time!  I absolutely loved doing it!  I am going to try and take a few classes and hopefully will start producing eye pleasing, mouth watering, yummy in your tummy cakes!  So here are a few pics of the first cake:   It was a chocolate butter cake with cookies and cream filling and buttercream icing.  All made from scratch!
